Miss McCranie entered the presence of her Lord on Sunday,
July 6, 2014. She had frequently mentioned that she was ready for heaven and her life demonstrated that every moment of her 79 years. “Miss Ginny” graduated from Bryan College in 1957 and then returned to Florida to teach and be a part of Christian education for the next fifty-two years. First Baptist Church of Westwood Lake/Westwood Christian School was blessed to have her as a ministry partner for forty-five years.
“Miss Ginny” retired to Forest City, NC in 2009 to be close to her nephew Jeff and his family. Very quickly she found a new church and friends through Tri-City Baptist Church.
She leaves a remarkable legacy of faithfulness.
Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things He hath done for you.
