Westwood Christian School's Dress Code Policy

Westwood Christian School is a college preparatory school that has been successfully educating students for over 65 years. Our dress code is an important part of our success.

Boys:

Do's

• Hair Cuts: Classic cuts, hair has to be above the collar, 1 inch above the eyebrows, and above the ear
• Uniforms: Risse Brothers' polo shirts tucked into a classic fit chino style and finished with a belt (Visit Risse Brothers Uniforms for specific grade level requirements)
• Sweatshirts or Jackets: Only school sweatshirts and jackets are permitted (Visit the Warrior Wear store for various styles)
• Footwear: Sneakers, shoes, and socks

Don'ts

• Hair Cuts: No fad cuts, fades lower then 2, designs on the head, volume on top, or wet mop styles
• Uniforms: No uniforms purchased anywhere except the Risse Brothers uniform store
• Sweatshirts or Jackets: No sweatshirts or jackets other than official school apparel
• Footwear: No flip-flops, crocs, sandals, or any shoes or sneakers without socks
• Other: No earrings, body piercing, or tattoos

Girls:

Do's

• Hair Cuts: Classic cuts, hair may be highlighted in natural tones
• Uniforms: Risse Brothers' dresses, skirts, chino pants, and polo-shirts. Skirt length must come to the knee in front when standing as well as when seated (Visit Risse Brothers Uniforms for specific grade level requirements)
• Sweatshirts or Jackets: Only school sweatshirts and jackets are permitted (Visit the Warrior Wear store for various styles)
• Footwear: Sneakers, shoes, and socks

Don'ts

• Hair Cuts: No multi-color hair
• Uniforms: No uniforms purchased anywhere except the Risse Brothers uniform store, no mini length skirts, ripped jeans, or leggings
• Sweatshirts or Jackets: No sweatshirts or jackets other than official school apparel
• Footwear: No flip-flops, crocs, sandals, or any shoes or sneakers without socks
• Other: No more then two sets of earrings, no body piercings or tattoos
