The School's Position on Discipline
Discipline problems will be handled in the following ways: warning to students, notes to parents, phone calls to parents, detentions, parent-teacher-principal conferences, probation, suspension or expulsion. The teacher and administration use discretion in the classroom discipline of the children.
Important Information
According to Florida State Law, Westwood Christian School reserves the right to search a student's locker or possessions upon reasonable suspicion for prohibited or illegally possessed substances or objects.
Westwood Christian School reserves the right to refuse admittance to class students who are carriers of any communicable diseases such as: measles, chicken pox, mumps, AIDS, diphtheria, tuberculosis, etc.
Westwood Christian School admits students of any race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin.
Westwood Christian School is a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Westwood Lake, Inc. and teaches Baptist principles and Baptist doctrines that are taught in the Word of God.
What is the School Dress Code ?
All students are required to wear the school uniform which must be purchased at:

Girl's skirts and dresses must come to the knee. Shoes must have at least a strap in the back for safety purposes.
Boys are required to have a traditional haircut (no mushroom cut, tails or shaved sides) which is to be cut neatly above the collar and ears at least one inch above the eyebrows. No necklaces or earrings are to be worn by boys at school.
Students attending after school activities including any athletic events in the evening or weekends are to follow the school dress code. Young ladies are not permitted to wear shorts, or miniskirts. Young men are not permitted to wear shorts unless they are participating in an approved athletic event.
