Enrichment Program

Reading List

In order to develop student vocabulary, thinking skills, encourage reading and prepare for fall classes, WCS has a required reading summer program for students (grades 6-12). All students are expected to read books from the list for the grade they are entering. Students will take a test over the book(s) marked in bold print. The other book(s) may be chosen from any book on the list; a book report will be required over the second book. Honors students (grades 9 and 10 only) will be required to read a book from a different author from the list and do a report over it.
