Overview

The kindergarten and elementary levels at Westwood Christian School offer a strong academic foundation in a Christian setting. Excellent teachers, carefully chosen curricula, and high expectations for the students combine to provide an outstanding educational experience.

Throughout the elementary years, a robust curriculum of language arts and mathematics is emphasized. The content areas of science and social studies enrich the child's knowledge of the world around him. Special classes in art, music, physical education, computer technology, library, and Spanish enhance the fundamental curriculum.

In addition to an extensive Bible curriculum, Christian values are integrated into all aspects of the school day. Responsibility and good work habits are taught and are expected of all students. 

The comprehensive school experience from kindergarten through fifth grade prepares the students to easily transition with confidence into middle school.
