Accreditation
Every five years Westwood Christian School undergoes an evaluation by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. In conjunction with the accreditation evaluation, Westwood Christian School undertakes a Self-Study for the purpose of improving itself in the following domains: Organization and Administration, Staff and Faculty, Physical Equipment, Preschool/Kindergarten Academic Programs, Elementary Academic Program, Secondary Academic Program, Standardized Testing, Health, Sanitation, and Minimum Standards, and Discipline. The outgrowth of the evaluation and Self-Study is a five year Continuation Improvement Program.
Westwood Christian School received full accreditation from the Florida Association of Christian Schools (FACCS) during its last review on November 1, 2005. The next evaluation will be in the fall of 2010 when the current accreditation expires. During the time period, 2005 to 2010 Westwood Christian School is aggressively carrying its new five year Continuing Improvement Plan.
Westwood Christian Schools is accredited by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools and American Association of Christian Schools (AACS). FACCS is recognized by the Florida Department of Education.
