Soon Westwood Christian School will celebrate 50 years of service to South Florida. As a ministry of First Baptist Church of Westwood Lake, Westwood Christian School has grown and matured with the greater Miami community. The Magic City has developed into an economic international hub. Similarly, the constituency of First Baptist Church and Westwood Christian School is worldwide in both outreach and diversity. At its very core, the mission of Westwood Christian School is to provide a Christ centered education which builds upon a Biblical foundation of scholarship to nurture students whose goal in life will be to serve God, family, and a world wide community.

Building upon a heritage of nearly fifty years, with a vision toward continued excellence, Westwood Christian is developing its facilities and curriculum so its students are prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st Century. Our goal in the next ten years is for Westwood Christian School to be “Simply the Best.”  Our hope is that every graduate has been trained to reach his/her God given potential. That he/she will have the necessary tools for the next phase of life. Not only will the Westwood Christian School graduate be equipped to make a living but also how to live in a way that is pleasing both to God and man.

The success in reaching our ambitious goals will require hard work and sacrifice by both our ministry staff and constituencies. Success depends on God’s grace and the support of everyone involved. We invite you to become involved, share your ideas, and invest yourself to make an impact on the city of Miami and literally the international community through the ministries of First Baptist Church: Circle-C Youth Ranch, and Westwood Christian School.
